What once started as DMs talking about scallion pancakes and astrology, turned into a budding friendship around entrepreneurship, technology, and lighting a fire to build a beautiful life.Nathaniel and Diana met amongst the Bay Area techies and instantly fell in love with each other's character. They both grew up mixed race — Ashkenazi Jewish &amp; Shanghainese (Diana) and Irish-German &amp; Taiwanese (Nathaniel). They bonded over stories of trips to Asia during their upbringing, navigating the SF tech scene, and their adventurous approach to life. It was pretty clear from the start, that these two were destined to be together.For Nathaniel, he knew that he would marry Diana after the first date, although Diana believes that he knew before they even met. Diana knew that they would marry after visiting Shanghai, her favorite city in the world. Since then, they have started companies together, traveled the world, and are constantly eating Nathaniel's delicious dishes.Their love shines through in their actions and how they take care of one another. Their kindness and thoughtfulness touches their loved ones as much as they care for each other. They can't wait to embark on their new journey of a life together, and fully believe that anything is possible.

Grocery stores in LA are a lifestyle, not just for food. Erewhon is the LA-only chain known for their smoothies, but Diana’s favorite thing to do is browse the snacks aisle and deli with prepared foods. There is a nice outdoor seating area to hang out, chat, and enjoy the LA sunshine. Be ready for a sticker price shock!

Eataly is another LA-lifestyle grocery store, but this time only focusing on authentic regional cuisines from across the Italy. They have cuts of unique charcuterie, handmade pasta, house-made mozzarella made fresh daily, and plenty of sweet and savory treats to bring home. The Getty is a show-stopping museum focusing on fine art throughout the past few centuries. They have sweeping views to see the LA skyline, and has a beautiful garden. It is free to attend, as long as you have a reservation. The only payment is for parking ($25/car), so be sure to carpool! Everyone has heard of In-N-Out, but have you heard of the secret menu? Animal Fries are Nathaniel's favorite, and The Flying Dutchman (grilled onions instead of a hamburger bun) is Diana's favorite. Great for a late night snack. No delivery or online order, be prepared for a line. :)

Our favorite hang-out spot in LA!!! If you are spending more time in LA - this is the only beach worth visiting. Please do not visit Santa Monica or Venice, and ignore whatever the movies are selling you - Manhattan Beach is the beach you are looking for. It is impeccably clean, has a 5-mile walking and biking path, an aquarium on the pier, and plenty of food, bars, and stores that line the downtown area. Definitely worth a visit for half a day!
